Latest company news about What are the problems in the treatment process of landfill leachate?

Due to the complex water quality of garbage leachate and the presence of a large amount of organic pollutants, in the treatment process of garbage leachate, in order to ensure the effluent effect, the following issues should be paid attention to:
1. Seasonal changes in water quantity and quality
The amount of water and quality of leachate treatment vary with seasons. Generally speaking, the rainy season is from May to October each year, and the dry season is from November to April. The amount of water in the rainy and dry seasons has almost doubled, and the concentration of pollutants in the rainy season is also much higher than that in the dry season. Different response plans for water quantity and quality changes should be developed during operation.

2. Anaerobic system
If the anaerobic system of the landfill leachate equipment adopts the UASB process, it should avoid the influence of large water volume and water load during operation to ensure the stability of the UASB process system. At the same time, attention should be paid to the phenomenon of effluent, and anaerobic effluent should be monitored and treated in a timely manner.
3. Supplementing carbon sources
Due to the emission standard being the Pollution Control Standard for Domestic Garbage Landfills (GB 16889-2008), the total nitrogen emission standard is less than 40mg/L. Therefore, this project has designed and operated a secondary biochemical system. According to the actual inflow and water quality, adjust the carbon source replenishment and reflux ratio in a timely manner to ensure that the total outflow of the system meets the standard.
4. The membrane system is running
The landfill leachate membrane system mainly includes ultrafiltration system, nanofiltration system, and reverse osmosis system. Timely repair and maintenance should be carried out based on parameters such as inlet water quality and membrane operating pressure, and regular cleaning and maintenance should be carried out. This system can only operate stably for a long time
5. Safe operation
The main processing unit of the leachate treatment station in the garbage incineration power plant should be equipped with a concentration detection and alarm device for toxic and harmful gases (methane, hydrogen sulfide), and warning signs should be hung. Methane and hydrogen sulfide should be installed in the regulating tank and anaerobic system. Alarm devices and sludge dewatering rooms should be equipped with hydrogen sulfide detection alarm devices, and relevant detection alarm devices should be regularly checked.
